On the occasion of *Anti Human Trafficking Day* a state level consultation program was organized by the Association for Voluntary Action (AVA) in collaboration with the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority Nainital and Uttarakhand Police, in which Dr. Geeta Khanna, Chairperson of Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Dehradun Mrs. Seema Dungrakoti, besides CWC, Labor Department and several other government departments and NGOs participated. On this occasion, in addition to the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority Dehradun, Deputy Legal Aid Defense Council Dehradun Mr. Chandravir Singh Negi and Assistant Legal Aid Defense Dehradun Mr. Nitish Chandra Bhadula and technical workers of the District Legal Services Authority Dehradun participated and they highlighted various aspects including child labor and trafficking, child marriage, etc. and many topics related to children were also discussed in depth by other departments and NGOs present and all the departments present accepted to make their maximum contribution in alertness against human trafficking as well as in making people aware through awareness campaigns and in cooperating in every possible help and rehabilitation of the victims.
