Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker and Kotdwar MLA Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan on Sunday listened to the *124th ‘Mann Ki Baat’* program broadcast by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi along with Garhwal MP Shri Anil Baluni at *”Didi Ki Pathshala”* run in Udayrampur situated on the Kanvashram coast.
On his arrival at Kotdwar, Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan warmly welcomed MP Shri Anil Baluni at *”Didi Ki Pathshala”*.
On this occasion, the Assembly Speaker said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has enhanced the work of talented and inspiring personalities from across the country by providing them a platform through the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. Prime Minister’s farsightedness and unique approach to public relations has worked to bring positive change in the society.
While informing MP Shri Anil Baluni about the activities of ‘Didi Ki Pathshala’, Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan told that her organization ‘Jai Durga Samajik Kalyan Sanstha’ is running a free coaching for poor and needy children in Udayrampur area. Here about 57 children learn lessons of studies, sports, music and moral values every day. The Pathshala is being run by Gaurav Jakhmola, who himself is a Divyang.
She said that the purpose of listening to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program with these children is to inculcate the values, thoughts and working style of Prime Minister Modi in them. When children listen to the Prime Minister, they get inspired and adopt positive changes. The biggest example of this is the Swachhata Abhiyan, which has also been enthusiastically carried forward by children across the country.
The Speaker of the Assembly enjoyed the presentations of the children and encouraged them by rewarding them. He also urged the parents to regularly send their children to ‘Didi Ki Pathshala’.
