The Chief Secretary has asked to strictly comply with this Uttarakhand State Employee Conduct Rules 2022.
A letter has been issued by Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan to all Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Heads of Departments, District Magistrates. It states that any government employee will be able to purchase land in his name or in the name of the family only when he will give its information to his officer.
Can ask for details of movable property
Similarly, a government employee will have to inform his officer before purchasing movable property like TV, fridge, AC, more than his one month’s salary or Rs 5000, whichever is less. At the time of appointment and after the expiry of every five years, every government employee will have to declare his immovable property, which he himself owns. It is also clear that his officer can ask for details of all movable and immovable assets at any time.
The details will also have to state how this property has been acquired. It has also been made clear that no employee will be able to make such purchases without informing about his rights. He has asked to strictly follow this
