Vikasnagar (Dehradun): A massive landslide suddenly occurred on Kalsi-Chakrata motor road. Fortunately, no vehicle was passing through here during this time. Traffic was stopped due to sudden hill cracking. However, later the traffic was resumed by removing the debris.
On Wednesday, Kalsi-Chakrata motor road was closed again after a huge amount of debris fell from the mountain in Jazared. More than 200 vehicles were stranded. The safety wall of the road collapsed. The debris was removed from the motor road with the help of two JCBs. On Tuesday also, the motor road was closed due to debris falling from the mountain.
