Dehradun: In the Corbett lapse case of Uttarakhand, finally Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also talked about action. CM Dhami clarified that an inquiry has been ordered in the matter. CM Dhami said that action will be taken against the culprits in the case.
An inquiry has been ordered on the security lapse case of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Corbett. There is a stir in the matter from the Forest Department to the Chief Minister’s Office, however, orders have been given to investigate it at the Forest Department level. Only after which action will be taken against anyone.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while answering the questions of ETV Bharat on this issue, said that the Forest Department has ordered an inquiry into this matter related to lapse in security. CM Dhami said that action will be taken against any officer found guilty in this case.
Know what is the whole matter: On Sunday, July 6, 2025, CM Dhami visited Corbett Tiger Reserve located in Nainital district. CM Dhami went on a trip in a gypsy. Corbett Park Director Saket Badola was also riding in the gypsy with the CM. The shocking thing is that the gypsy on which CM Dhami went on Corbett Safari had not even undergone a safety audit. The biggest thing is that the fitness of this gypsy had expired on 22 August 2020. That is, CM Dhami was taken on a jungle safari in a gypsy whose fitness had expired 5 years ago. There was a stir as soon as this news spread. However, immediately after the news, the fitness of the gypsy was renewed till 2027.
