Uttarkashi: Two goat herders swept away in the river about 15 km from Harshil in Uttarkashi late Saturday evening. As soon as the information was received, several teams including SDRF and police left for the spot.
In fact, on Saturday, information was received that two goat herders were swept away in the Jalandari river near Kyarkoti, about 14-15 km (foot path) from Harshil in Tehsil Bhatwadi. The concerned team left as soon as the information was received.
The team includes 06 people from SDRF, 04 people from the forest department, four people from the police, two people from the revenue department and villagers.
