Dehradun: This time in the three-tier Panchayat elections, the maximum number of OBC posts will be reserved for Pradhan in Uttarkashi and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Where the population is more, the seats also increased
The single member dedicated commission has decided the reservation of seats according to the population of OBC. There are 1166 posts of Pradhan in Pauri, but only 25 of these are reserved for OBC. In Udham Singh Nagar 71 out of 373 posts of Pradhan, in Uttarkashi 95 out of 521 posts are reserved for OBC. There are a total of 7499 posts of Pradhan, out of which 2747 posts are for general, 457 posts for OBC, 1380 for SC, 225 for ST, 2690 posts for women and others. The total number of reserved posts is 4752 while the number of unreserved posts is 2747. Similarly, reservation has also been decided for other posts of three-tier Panchayats.
