Dehradun: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has jointly seized cash and documents from the houses of officers, builder and an advocate in the NH scam. The cash recovered from all the places is said to be around Rs 20 lakh. This cash has been seized in a joint action from Haridwar and Moradabad.
It is worth noting that on Thursday, ED raided places like Dehradun, Bareilly, Sitapur, Moradabad, Kashipur etc. These include the house of PCS officer DP Singh, a builder from Haridwar, an advocate from Kashipur. These also include the residences of some relatives of PCS Singh.
ED sources said that in Bareilly, Sitapur and Dehradun, ED has not recovered cash and documents related to DP Singh. However, cash has been recovered from the residences of his relatives. ED has seized cash and documents from the house of a builder in Haridwar. The cash recovered from all the places is said to be around Rs 20 lakh.
Let us tell you that in the NH scam, ED has filed seven prosecution complaints against PCS DP Singh in the court. But, Singh has got a clean chit in these complaints. Now suddenly due to this kind of action, NH scam has once again come in the news.A
fter eight years, ED’s action has once again revived the case. In future, ED can take action against many more officers in this case.
