Rudraprayag :-About 32 lakh pilgrims have reached the Chardham Yatra so far. Pilgrims are now reaching other temples and pilgrimage sites along with the four shrines. Due to this, economic activities are also intensifying at other places like the Chardham Yatra route. This year, 57863 pilgrims had come to the Kartik Swami temple in Rudraprayag till May.
In 2021, 15735 passengers arrived here. By 2024, the number of pilgrims had reached 228837. While 56423 pilgrims had visited Jageshwar Dham till June 15. In 2024, 208073 people visited here. Similarly, the number of pilgrims in other major temples of the state has also increased.
Let us tell you that in this yatra season alone, the total number of registrations for Chardham and Hemkund has crossed 44 lakh. In this, 713456 registrations have been made for Yamunotri Dham, 780554 for Gangotri, 1443513 for Kedarnath, 1336923 for Badrinath and 169180 for Hemkund, out of which about 32 lakh pilgrims have completed the journey so far.
It is having a positive economic impact on the Chardham Yatra route. CM Dhami has been continuously emphasizing on the publicity of other pilgrimage sites and dhams so that economic activities can be intensified in these areas as well
