Ramnagar: A young man lost his life in a road accident in Ramnagar of Nainital district. While, two other youths were badly injured. This accident happened near Ringauda on Garjia Marg. Where two bikes collided head-on. After the accident, there was chaos on the spot and on the information of the local people, the police immediately took the injured to the government hospital in Ramnagar. Where the treatment of both the injured youths is going on.
Two bikes collide on Garjia Marg: Ramnagar Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini said that a youth named Kartik Upadhyay has died in the bike accident. Kartik had come to Ramnagar by bike with his friends Suhail and another youth. Ramesh Bisht, a resident of Champawat district, who works in a resort located in Dhikuli, was riding the bike coming from the other side. Where both the bikes collided head-on near Ringauda.
One youth died in the accident: The collision was so severe that all three youths were seriously injured. After the accident, all three injured were taken to the government hospital in Ramnagar with the help of local people. Where doctors declared Kartik Upadhyay dead. Whereas, the other two youths Suhail and Ramesh Bisht are undergoing treatment and their condition remains critical.
Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini said that after receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and collected evidence. The police has received a complaint from one side and now the matter will be investigated and necessary legal action will be taken. He also told that the bikes involved in the accident have been taken into custody and the reasons for the accident are being investigated.
