Badrinath (Chamoli): More than 21 thousand pilgrims visited Badrinath Dham on Sunday. This is the second largest number of pilgrims reaching Badrinath in a day after the opening of the doors. Earlier, about 23 thousand 580 devotees had darshan on the day of opening of the doors.
On Sunday, 21258 pilgrims reached Badrinath Dham for darshan. At the same time, now the total number of pilgrims reaching the Dham has gone up to two lakh 33 thousand 747. With Sunday being a holiday, a large number of devotees are reaching Badrinath these days due to Pushkar Kumbh in Mana. Due to which there is a lot of excitement in the Dham.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our government is fully committed to make the Chardham Yatra smooth and safe. So far more than 10 lakh devotees have visited the four Dhams. All the devotees are requested to take special care of cleanliness during the journey and make this holy journey successful and memorable by following the guidelines issued by the government.
