A review meeting regarding matters from the districts pending at the government level was held on Tuesday at the Secretariat, chaired by Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan. The Chief Secretary issued strict directives to heads of departments and District Magistrates to ensure the speedy resolution of all pending cases through mutual coordination.
He made it clear that unnecessary delays at any level in district development works would not be tolerated. Instructions were given to resolve matters related to roads, bridges, buildings, and other construction projects on a priority basis and within a stipulated timeframe.
It is noteworthy that this special meeting is held on the first Tuesday of every month to address cases pending at the government level. Appreciating this initiative, the District Magistrates stated that direct communication with department heads and regular reviews have enabled the quick resolution of issues that had been stalled for years. Senior government officials and District Magistrates attended the meeting.
