On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed appointment letters to a total of 332 newly recruited personnel—comprising 271 staff from the AYUSH Department and 61 Pharmacy Officers from the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) scheme—at a function held at Mukhya Sevak Sadan in Dehradun.
Extending his best wishes to the new recruits, the Chief Minister urged them to discharge their duties with a spirit of service, sensitivity, and dedication. He advised them not to view this merely as a job, but as a means to bring about positive change in the lives of the most marginalized individuals in society.
Emphasizing the transparent recruitment system, the Chief Minister noted that strict anti-cheating laws are ensuring that youth receive their due based on merit, with over 35,000 young people securing government jobs in the last five years. He also reiterated his commitment to developing Uttarakhand into a model ‘AYUSH State’ and a ‘Global Wellness Hub.’ ESI services have now been expanded to cover all 13 districts.
Several public representatives and officials, including AYUSH Minister Madan Kaushik, were present at the event.
