Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the “Chief Minister Udyamshala Yojana” Chaupal-2026 at Mukhya Sevak Sadan on Friday. On this occasion, he honored women entrepreneurs and ‘Lakhpati Didis’.
Key Highlights:
• Major Announcement: A state-level marketing center for the sale of products made by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will be opened in the 13 villages located at the IT Park in Dehradun.
• Achievements: Under the scheme, financial and technical support has been provided to over 13,000 entrepreneurs, including more than 8,000 women entrepreneurs. More than 3 lakh women in the state have become ‘Lakhpati Didis’.
• Market for Local Products: The ‘House of Himalayas’ brand is being promoted to gain global recognition for local products.
• Objective: To strengthen the rural economy, transform youth into job providers, and curb migration from villages.
The departmental annual report and various training modules were also released during the event.
