On Monday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 276 newly selected candidates at the Chief Sevak Sadan in Dehradun. These appointments include candidates from the Forest Department (109), Women Empowerment and Child Development (88), Technical Education (65), and the Town and Country Planning Department (14).
Key Highlights:
• Transparency and Merit: The Chief Minister stated that, by implementing the country’s strictest anti-copying law in the state, recruitment processes have been rendered completely transparent and impartial. Now, the youth are achieving success solely on the basis of merit. Over the past four and a half years, approximately 33,000 young individuals have been inducted into government services.
• The Responsibility of Public Service: While congratulating the newly appointed personnel, he remarked that this job is not merely an achievement, but rather the beginning of a journey of public service. He urged everyone to deliver the benefits of development schemes to the last person in society with utmost honesty and sensitivity.
• The Resolve for a Developed Uttarakhand: Referring to PM Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-247’ (Developed India-247), the CM stated that the state government is operating on a work culture defined by “more delivery than declarations, and more results than promises.”
Cabinet Ministers Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, and Rekha Arya, along with several senior officials and public representatives, were present at the ceremony.
