Satpal Maharaj—the State Minister for Public Works, Irrigation, Tourism, Rural Construction, Religious Affairs, and Culture—along with Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, jointly inaugurated the BJP’s newly constructed district office building in the presence of party office-bearers and workers.
BJP leader and State Minister Satpal Maharaj inaugurated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s newly constructed district-level office on Wednesday by cutting the ribbon and performing religious rituals. Speaking on the occasion, he extended his best wishes to the party workers regarding the new building, stating that it is a moment of immense pride and joy for all of us that the BJP’s new district office has been inaugurated. He remarked that this is not merely the inauguration of an office, but also the launch of a new hub symbolizing the strength of the BJP organization, the energy of its workers, and a renewed resolve for public service.
Mr. Maharaj stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanks to the tireless efforts of its dedicated workers—whom he described as “god-like”—the Bharatiya Janata Party is witnessing continuous expansion today. Since 2014, the BJP’s expansion represents not just electoral victories, but a triumph of ideology, organization, and public trust. Following its successes in Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Sikkim, and now with the formation of a BJP government in West Bengal for the first time, the saffron flag is flying high everywhere—from Gangotri to Gangasagar.
He noted that the BJP is currently the largest political party in the world, boasting a membership of over 180 million and holding power in 22 states across the country. In addition to the “Panna Pramukh” and “Shakti Kendra” models, the BJP has a presence of at least 10 dedicated workers at every polling booth. The Bharatiya Janata Party has always been a party guided by the core principles of “Nation First,” “Organization Paramount,” and “Public Service.” The district office will serve as a central hub for inspiration, dialogue, and service for our workers. From this location, the task of disseminating the government’s welfare schemes and the organization’s ideology to every section of society will be executed with even greater effectiveness.
Mr. Maharaj expressed his gratitude to all the office-bearers, workers, and supporters who contributed to the construction of the BJP’s new building, and also paid tribute to those party workers who worked day and night to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, reaching every village across the region. On the occasion of the inauguration of the newly constructed BJP District Office building, numerous BJP workers and office bearers were present, including District President Kamal Kishore, Pauri MLA Rajkumar Pauri, District General Secretaries Ganesh Bhatt and Mahipal Singh Negi, Mahila Morcha District President Parmila Bhandari, Scheduled Caste Morcha District President Narendra Tamta, Yuva Morcha District President Ganesh Rathi, former MLA Yashpal Benam, Mukesh Kohli, Vishwa Hindu Parishad District President Rakesh Gaur, former District President Sushma Rawat, District Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Rachna Butola, Municipal Council Chairperson Himani Negi, and former District Panchayat Chairperson Shanti Devi.
