Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi held a review meeting today at his camp office to assess various proposed and ongoing development works related to motor road construction within the Mussoorie Assembly constituency. During the meeting, the progress of various road projects was discussed in detail with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD).
During the meeting, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi sought detailed information regarding the status and progress of roads in various wards of Dehradun, including the Kyara-Dhanaulti road, Garh-Buranskhanda road, Motidhar-Masrana, Loharigarh, Kothiyana, Chhoti Chamrauli to Domkot, Bilaspur Kandli, and Anarwala-Malsi. He also inquired about the condition of Gaziawala, Aman Vihar, and the Dhoran Bridge. The Minister directed officials to complete all pending road construction and improvement works expeditiously and on a priority basis.
Expressing displeasure over the poor condition of Motilal Nehru Road in Mussoorie, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi issued instructions for immediate repair work. He stated that he would personally visit the site for an inspection on May 16; therefore, the road repair work must be completed prior to that date. The Minister also directed that improvement works on the Mussoorie Mall Road be completed on a priority basis, and further instructed officials to expedite the ongoing road improvement works in the Johri-Anarwala area. Road widening works in the Garhi Dakra area were also discussed during the meeting.
Present on this occasion were PWD Chief Engineer Rajesh Sharma, Superintending Engineer O.P. Singh, Executive Engineer Rajesh Kumar, Mandal President Rajiv Gurung, along with Samir Pundir, Anuj Kaushal, Vishnu Gupta, Sanjay Nautiyal, and others.
