Cabinet Minister Pradeep Batra participated in the Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. During the meeting, several revolutionary and far-reaching decisions were taken, keeping in mind the holistic development of the state, public interest, and future requirements.
Cabinet Minister Pradeep Batra stated that, in alignment with the vision of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Uttarakhand government has approved significant decisions aimed at steering the state toward a new trajectory of development, environmental conservation, and self-reliance.
During the meeting, approval was granted to eco-friendly reforms such as the ‘One Officer, One Vehicle’ policy and the observance of a ‘No Vehicle Day.’ Additionally, a decision was taken to swiftly implement a new EV (Electric Vehicle) Policy in the state, which will foster pollution control and green development.
Furthermore, resolutions were adopted to carve out a distinct identity for Uttarakhand on the global tourism map through the ‘Visit My State’ campaign, to promote local products under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, and to encourage natural farming.
The government will work expeditiously toward making the state self-reliant in the energy sector by accelerating solar energy projects, alongside expanding the PNG (Piped Natural Gas) network and the PM-Surya Ghar Yojana.
Cabinet Minister Pradeep Batra affirmed that these decisions, taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, will prove to be milestones in the journey toward transforming Uttarakhand into an empowered, prosperous, environmentally balanced, and self-reliant state.
