On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed ‘Kanya Pujan’ (worship of young girls) at the Chief Minister’s residence and prayed for the prosperity of the state. Adhering to traditional customs, he served food to the young girls and sought their blessings.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Ram Navami—the birth anniversary of *Maryada Purushottam* (the Ideal Man), Lord Shri Ram. He stated that the entire life and character of Lord Shri Ram inspire us to walk the path of truth and righteousness with unwavering devotion to duty.
He prayed to Lord Shri Ram that everyone’s life be filled with happiness, prosperity, and well-being, and that the state continues to advance steadily on the path of progress. He further remarked that the festival of Ram Navami further strengthens our faith in propriety, ideals, and moral values. *Kanya Pujan* is an integral part of our rich cultural heritage, conveying a message of respect for women and social harmony
