For the first time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has openly expressed his views regarding the proposed Law University project in Ranipokhri. Speaking at the airport following the inauguration of the Dehradun-Pithoragarh air service, Chief Minister Dhami stated that establishing a law university is among his government’s top priorities. This is a decision that his government had already taken previously.
Concrete steps will certainly be taken in this direction. He asserted that he does not engage in fabricating claims; nor will he undertake any actions merely to gain cheap popularity for a fleeting moment. Instead, he is committed to delivering substantive work. He further mentioned that the local MLA, Brijbhushan Gairola, has also apprised him of all the relevant details.
A constructive path and an optimal solution will be devised for this matter. As for those engaging in politics, let them continue to do so for the time being. The Chief Minister added that the displaced residents of Tehri—specifically those displaced by the dam project—also have their own set of priorities, and full attention will be devoted to addressing their concerns as well
