Before the work on the master plan begins in the Badrinath Dham complex, inspections of the ancient sites and testing around the Garam Kund and other streams will be carried out. After this, a DPR will be prepared to proceed with the corridor work.
The consultant has prepared a report based on discussions with religious leaders, Ved scholars, and other right holders. It will also mention where and how much excavation is to be done so that no harm is caused to the natural streams. This report is being submitted to the Chief Secretary.
