Angel’s brother, Michael, admitted him to the hospital. After doctors confirmed the serious injuries, police filed an FIR on December 14 for attempted murder.
Subsequently, Angel died during treatment on December 26. Police also added murder charges. CCTV footage revealed the involvement of six people in the incident. Police arrested five accused, including two minors, while the main attacker, Yagya Raj, remains at large.
According to the police, the main accused is originally from Nepal. Police received information that he had fled to Nepal. Following the murder, police conducted several raids in the border area, but the accused remained undetected.
