Today, people from various organizations protested in Dehradun, the capital city, demanding a CBI investigation to ensure justice for Ankita Bhandari. Representatives from various social organizations and opposition political parties marched towards the Chief Minister’s residence.
Representatives of the social organizations stated that their protest would be entirely peaceful. Representatives of social and public organizations and opposition parties said that in light of the new allegations in the Ankita case, a fresh investigation is necessary.
