With the opening of the new elevated road, the travel time to Mohand has been significantly reduced. The elevated road on the Doon-Delhi Expressway is 14 km long.
Work almost complete, expressway expected to open soon
The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is expected to open soon. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, said on Wednesday that the expressway would be opened in 10 to 15 days. The elevated road on the expressway is almost complete. Only the construction of the viaduct up to the Maa Dat Kali Temple is still underway. Officials say that 90 percent of the viaduct work is also complete.
