*Statement by MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari*
MDDA’s primary objective is to implement orderly, safe, and planned urban development. In line with this spirit, the authority has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against illegal constructions and illegal plotting. We have taken decisive action against such activities on a large scale in the past few months. Illegal colonizers plotting without map approval and without providing basic amenities not only violates the law but also poses serious risks to citizens in the future. The MDDA has clearly instructed that any individual or organization violating the rules will face strict action. We also appeal to the public to verify the legal status of any land or plot before purchasing it and to invest only in MDDA-approved colonies. Our goal is to create a clean, organized, and transparent urban development model, in which the safety and interests of the public are paramount.
*Statement by MDDA Secretary Mohan Singh Barniya*
The authority is continuously monitoring illegal constructions and takes immediate action whenever information about illegal activities is received. Development areas are being physically inspected to ensure that illegal plotting or construction does not flourish at any level. Citizens and investors are requested to purchase land only after verifying map approval and legal procedures. The MDDA strives to ensure that development work proceeds in a compliant and transparent manner.
