Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday transferred the 21st installment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi. More than ₹18,000 crore was directly transferred to the bank accounts of 9 crore beneficiaries of the scheme from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored them during the inauguration of the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025.
Under the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months—a total of ₹6,000 annually—directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The previous 20th installment was released in August, benefiting more than 98 million farmers, including 24 million women farmers. In the first 20 installments, Prime Minister Modi has disbursed more than ₹390,000 crore under the scheme.

Click on ‘Beneficiary List’ under ‘Farmers Corner’ on the homepage.
Enter your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
Click on ‘Get Report’ to view the list of beneficiaries for your village.
Objective of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana aims to increase the income of small and marginal farmers, meet their financial needs for purchasing various inputs to ensure proper crop health and yield, in line with the estimated agricultural income at the end of each crop cycle. Furthermore, the scheme aims to protect farmers from falling into the clutches of moneylenders and ensure their continuity in agricultural activities.
