Saharsa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Saharsa, Bihar. He said that only two days remain for the first phase of voting. Saharsa and Madhepura will vote on the morning of November 6th. “When I voted for the first time in my life, I had a desire that my vote should not go waste. I thought that my vote should form a government with my vote.”
Appeal to first-time voters: The PM said, “I also tell you that the first vote you cast should be a vote that forms a government, and the NDA government is going to be formed. Your vote will strengthen the NDA government. Therefore, I have a special request to all the young sons and daughters who are voting for the first time that this time your vote should be a vote that forms the NDA government.” Those who are in charge of jungle raj must be defeated so badly that they can never even think ill of Bihar. Applause for the women’s cricket team: The Prime Minister said that Bihar is known for its knowledge and respect for women. Bihar has always been a strong place for women’s empowerment. Be it Mother Sita, Goddess Bharti, or Vidushi Gargi, countless such women and mothers are our inspirations. From this inspiring land of women’s empowerment, I congratulate the entire nation on its victory in the Women’s Cricket World Cup. Yesterday in Mumbai, India’s daughters created history. India won the Women’s Cricket World Cup for the first time. After 25 years, the world has a new world champion, and this pride has been given to the entire country by India’s daughters. NDA’s identity lies in development: Addressing the public meeting, Narendra Modi said that whether it is RJD or Congress, they have no connection whatsoever with development. NDA’s identity lies in development, while RJD and Congress’s identity lies in destruction. The foundation stone for the Kosi Mahasetu rail bridge was laid by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2003. Subsequently, in 2004, Manmohan Singh’s Congress government, supported by the RJD, came to power in Delhi, followed by a government led by Nitish Kumar in 2005. The people rejected the RJD: Modi said that the people of Bihar rejected the RJD in every nook and corner. This infuriated the RJD and their arrogance. They became so angry with the people of Bihar that they set out to destroy Bihar. They had a government in Delhi, and the government in Delhi was running on their support. Therefore, sitting in the Delhi government, next to Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, they began taking revenge on Bihar and Nitish Kumar’s government, and they put a halt to all the welfare schemes for the people of Bihar. The Congress-RJD stalled the Kosi Mahasetu.
Double-engine government: PM Modi said that in 2014, you gave me the opportunity to serve the country from Delhi. You formed the NDA’s double-engine government. Now you’ve given me the opportunity to serve, removing those seeking revenge from there as well. I called for the file (Kosi Mahasetu Bridge Project) anew, started work with renewed vigor, allocated funds for the Kosi Mahasetu, and finally, in 2020, the NDA government handed over the bridge to Bihar. There was a time when people in large parts of the Kosi-Mithila region had to travel 300 kilometers to cross the river. Today, that 300 kilometers has been reduced to less than 30 kilometers. The opposition’s obsession with infiltrators: Addressing the people of Saharsa, the Prime Minister said, “Whether it’s the Congress or the RJD, they are only obsessed with infiltrators. They undertake political tours to protect them. They travel the world. Tell me, will you decide the future of Bihar, or will the infiltrators? These infiltrators are taking over your property and claiming your resources. Bihar must be saved from infiltrators.” We are working to remove these intruders. Separate ministry for fisheries: Narendra Modi said, “You may not be aware of this. When I travel abroad, I give boxes full of makhana to even the world’s top leaders, and I proudly declare that this is the income of the farmers of my Bihar. Our government is also prioritizing the interests of fish farmers here. We created a separate ministry for the fisheries sector and allocated a separate budget. Previously, there was no other ministry for fisheries in the Indian government, nor was there any budget. He said that it was Modi who created a separate ministry in India so that the lives of our fish farmers could be improved.”
“Be it RJD or Congress, they have no connection whatsoever with development. The NDA is identified with development, while the RJD and Congress are identified with destruction. The RJD and Congress do not understand the language of development. Their dictionary is filled with words like ‘katta’ (force), ‘cruelty’, ‘bitrariness’, ‘bad manners’, ‘bad governance’, and ‘corruption’. This is all they have learned in the school of ‘jungle raj’.” – Narendra Modi, Prime Minister
