Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar today, October 30th, for the Bihar Assembly elections. To bolster 21 seats, the Prime Minister will visit two districts. He will address election rallies in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra. He will seek votes for the NDA candidate and also attempt to expose the manifesto released by the Grand Alliance. Mahagathbandhan holds 70% of the seats in Saran district: Saran district, part of the Tirhut division, is considered a stronghold of the Grand Alliance. Chhapra is considered a stronghold of Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has also served as an MP from there. Kedarnath Singh is the MLA from the Baniapur assembly seat, Jitendra Yadav is the MLA from the Madhaura assembly seat. Surendra Ram of the RJD is the MLA from the Garkha assembly seat. Chhotelal Rai of the RJD was the MLA from Parsa. Chhotelal Rai has switched sides and is contesting on a JDU ticket in the 2025 assembly elections. Satyendra Yadav of the CPM is the MLA from the Manjhi assembly seat.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy defeated Lalu Yadav’s daughter: According to the 2020 assembly election results, the NDA holds three assembly seats in Saran district. Janak Singh is the MLA from the Taraiya assembly seat, C.N. Gupta is the MLA from the Chapra assembly seat, and Krishna Kumar Mantu is the MLA from the Amanour assembly seat. Rajiv Pratap Rudy is the MP from Chapra. Rajiv Pratap defeated Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Rohini. To strengthen the BJP’s position in the district, the NDA has fielded its most prominent leader.
