The state government will relax standards for opening ESIC hospitals in the state. A proposal will be sent to the Council. Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, in a meeting of the authorized committee of the State-Level Udyog Mitra Samiti, directed the provision of a better environment for industries and the prompt resolution of related matters.
While directing the prompt resolution of industrial matters, the Chief Secretary stated that the government is committed to providing adequate facilities and a better environment to industries in the state. The Chief Secretary instructed officials to regularly convene meetings of the State and District-level Udyog Mitra Committees to discuss matters related to industries and entrepreneurs. He stated that immediate action should be taken on matters of urgent importance, rather than waiting for these committee meetings.
The Chief Secretary heard in detail the matters presented by representatives of state entrepreneurs and industry organizations. He discussed several important matters related to industries and directed officials of the concerned departments to ensure prompt resolution. He said that the Finance Secretary will hold a meeting with entrepreneurs regarding issues related to the new GST system and will appropriately resolve any problems and doubts.
Proposal to relax standards prepared
A proposal to relax standards for opening ESIC hospitals in the state will be prepared and sent to the Regional Council. He also directed officials regarding the arrangement of land required for an ESIC hospital in Dehradun. The Chief Secretary said that special attention is being paid to providing a better environment for the establishment and operation of industries in the state, as well as to providing adequate facilities in industrial establishments.
