840 government schools in the state will be connected to a virtual class network. This will enable both virtual and smart classes to be conducted in these schools under a hybrid mode. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will launch this innovative initiative on Saturday, October 11th, from the ICT Lab at Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nanurkheda. Departmental officials have been given necessary instructions for thorough preparations for the launch. State School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that the state government is taking several steps to improve education. While digitizing education is improving the quality of school education, teacher shortages are being addressed. Furthermore, schools are also being equipped with resources. Dr. Rawat stated that the government has decided to promote digital education to provide high-quality education to the state’s children. As part of this initiative, 840 government schools in the state have been connected to the virtual class network. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the program on Saturday, October 11th, from the ICT Lab at Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nanurkheda. Dr. Rawat stated that necessary instructions have been issued to departmental officials to ensure the presence of all public representatives at the schools for the launch. He stated that local MPs, MLAs, District Panchayat Chairpersons, Mayors of Municipal Corporations, and other regional public representatives will be required to attend the program in their respective areas. Dr. Rawat stated that as part of this innovative initiative, a hybrid teaching system has been implemented in these schools, with classes conducted through both virtual and smart classroom mediums. He also stated that two central studios have been constructed at Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Raipur, under the Government of India’s ICT scheme for digital broadcasting in schools. Classes will be livestreamed through these studios, enabling two-way communication between students and teachers. Dr. Rawat stated that connecting schools to the virtual class network will provide modern educational facilities to students in border areas and other areas, improving their learning abilities. He stated that the virtual class network has been tested, and now all schools will be able to broadcast live classes. The department’s “Shiksha Ki Baat” program will also be broadcast through this network. *Box* School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that schools in every district have been connected to the virtual class network to promote digital education. This includes 71 schools in Almora, 29 in Bageshwar, 68 in Chamoli, 54 in Champawat, 55 in Dehradun, 53 in Haridwar, 64 in Nainital, 103 in Pauri, 80 in Pithoragarh, 53 in Rudraprayag, 120 in Tehri, 51 in Udham Singh Nagar, and 39 in Uttarkashi. *Statement-* 840 schools across the state have been connected to a virtual classroom network.
