Under the UDAN scheme, helicopter services will be operated from Pithoragarh to Munsyari and Dharchula from October 1st. Following approval from the Union Civil Aviation Ministry, Heritage Aviation has begun preparations.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu in August and requested the expansion of helicopter services in the state under the UDAN scheme. The Civil Aviation Ministry has entrusted the operation of helicopter services from Pithoragarh to Munsyari and Dharchula to Heritage Aviation.
Ashish Chauhan, CEO of the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority, stated that helicopter services will begin operating from Pithoragarh to Munsyari and Dharchula from October 1st. The launch of helicopter services in the border district will boost tourism and provide local residents with the benefits of air service
