There has been a huge destruction due to cloudburst in Dehradun late at night. Ten people have died in the disaster. Rivers have taken a terrible form and people are scared. The clouds burst, the rivers took a terrible form and Dehradun was shaken. The rain was so heavy that people could not understand anything. Water everywhere, roads were washed away, houses were filled with mud, and many lives came to a halt in a moment. The situation became so uncontrollable that people climbed electric poles to save their lives. Everyone was scared to see water all over the ground. After the cloudburst in areas like Premnagar, Thakurpur, Sahastradhara, Maldevta of Dehradun, such a horrific scene came to the fore, which shook everyone. The death of 10 people has been confirmed in the disaster and many are still missing. NDRF teams rescued many lives by carrying out rescue operations. People were so scared in the flood caused by cloudburst that they climbed on electric poles to save their lives. Some were on the roof, some on the tree, and some hung on the pole. So that the flow of water does not take them along. Asan river in Parwal of Patelnagar area of โโDehradun overflowed and dozens of houses were submerged in its furious form. 14-15 labourers riding in a tractor in Parwal of Premnagar area were swept away, out of which the death of 6 people has been confirmed so far. The search for the rest is on. Bodies were also recovered from Sahastradhara and Naya village, taking the total number of dead to 10. The situation in Thakurpur area became so terrible that people climbed electric poles and high places to save their lives. The fast flow of water swallowed roads, vehicles, and houses in no time. Many houses were filled with mud, bridges broke and connecting routes were cut off. NDRF teams reached the spot and rescued many people safely. Meanwhile, the Dehradun-Haridwar highway, Mussoorie-Dehradun road, and the Jakhan river bridge were also damaged, due to which the traffic is completely affected. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself visited the affected areas and said that the central government is fully standing with the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah took information about the disaster over the phone and assured all possible help. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to carry out relief and rescue operations on a war footing. The administration has appealed to the citizens not to travel unnecessarily in the hilly areas, people living in slums should move to safer places and immediately inform the administration about any disaster.
