Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held an important meeting today at his official residence in Yamuna Colony. In the meeting, the landslides in Srinagar and Dhari Devi temple area, the motor road damaged by the disaster on the National Highway in Farasu area and the damaged roads of Chauthan area were reviewed in detail.
Minister Dr. Rawat directed the officials to get technical tests done from IIT Roorkee for geographical and geostructural investigation of these disaster-affected sites, so that a permanent solution to these problems can be ensured.
Officials of the concerned departments including Disaster Secretary, Public Works Department, District Magistrate Pauri were present in the meeting. Along with this, disaster affected Vasudev Kandhari, Sandeep Gusai, District General Secretary of BJP Organization Ganesh Bhatt, Srinagar Mandal President Vinay Ghildiyal and Narendra Rawat (Kutti Bhai) were also present.
Dr. Rawat directed all the departments to take immediate action by making mutual coordination, so that recurrence of such disasters can be prevented in future.
