Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today inspected the proposed sewer line construction works in Neelkanth Vihar, Pathariapir of Mussoorie Assembly constituency. He directed the officials of Public Works Department and Jal Nigam to complete all the necessary works related to the survey as soon as possible and take further action so that the people of the area can get the benefit of the scheme soon.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also directed the officials to start the work of laying sewer line in Chakhuwala and Indira Colony on priority basis. He said that the state government is committed to the development of basic facilities of the public.
It is known that in the year 2022, under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the construction of sewer line and related works were to be done by the Drinking Water Corporation in Pathariapir, Neelkanth Vihar, Indira Colony Chukhuwala area. After which an estimate of about 13 crores was made by the Drinking Water Corporation, but the survey of the sewerage scheme has to be revised regarding the survey of elevated road construction. For which the proceedings are in progress.
On this occasion, Divisional President Pradeep Rawat, Bhavna Chaudhary, Dr. Babita Sahotra, Dinesh Chaman, Superintending Engineer of Jal Nigam Misha Sinha, EE of PWD Jitendra Tripathi, EE of Jal Nigam Jeetmani Belwal along with other officials of the concerned departments and area residents were present.
