Fifty-six officer cadets from the Special List-38 course passed out at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Saturday at a piping ceremony. The cadets were awarded their stars and commissioned as officers.
Commandant Lieutenant General Nagendra Singh congratulated the cadets, saying, “The reputation of the Indian Army is upheld by the values this academy teaches: professionalism, integrity, and service to the nation.” He added, “In this era of change, the new officers will play a vital role in strengthening the Army’s operations, leadership, and morale.”
Junior Under Officer Kulbir Kumar and Officer Cadet Anant Pandey were selected for the Commandant’s Gold Medal and Silver Medal, respectively
