Due to the rain in the state, 260 roads have been closed due to debris falling on the roads at various places. The bridge in Tamak Nala of Jyotirmath-Malari road in Chamoli district of Garhwal division has been washed away. Due to which the headquarters’ contact with the border areas was cut off. At the same time, Haldwani-Chorgaliya-Sitapur state road is obstructed due to excessive flow of water in Sher Nala and Surya Nala in Nainital district of Kumaon division. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that the safety and convenience of the people of the state is the top priority of the government. To ensure that there is no problem in the disaster affected areas, continuous monitoring is being done to restore the supply of roads, electricity, water and essential commodities.
